About Hero Super Cup
The Hero Super Cup is a knockout football competition in India organised by the All India Football Federation. The tournament involves clubs from the Hero Indian Super League and the Hero I-League, competing against each other in a knockout format. The top 6 clubs from both leagues automatically qualify for the Round of 16. The clubs ranked 7th to 10th fight it out for the remaining 4 spots in the qualifiers.
The inaugural edition of the Hero Super Cup was held at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar from March 15 to April 20, 2018. The second edition is being held at the same venue from March 15 to April 13, 2019.
