FC Goa progressed to the quarter-finals of the Hero Super Cup after overcoming their Hero Indian Super League (ISL) rivals ATK 3-1 at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday. Goals from Ferran Corominas, Hugo Boumous and Brandon Fernandes sealed the victory for the Gaurs as they left behind Robbie Keane’s equaliser to run out as comfortable winners. 

Goalscorer Brandon Fernandes spoke to supercup.in after the game about his team’s performance and strategy. The 23-year old was delighted to get his name on the scoresheet and was full of praise for some of his senior teammates. He also had a special message for some of the travelling fans that made it all the way to Bhubaneswar to support the Gaurs.
