Stars pour in with wishes for Hero Super Cup champions Bengaluru
Bengaluru FC clinched the inaugural Hero Super Cup with a resounding 4-1 victory over East Bengal in the Final at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar on Friday. After narrowly losing out on the Hero Indian Super League (ISL) 2017-2018 title, the Blues were keen on finishing the season on a high. Albert Roca’s men put up a brilliant display in the Final with the usual suspects, Sunil Chhetri and Miku bagging three goals between them, after Rahul Bheke had equalised to level proceedings.
A number of notable Hero ISL stars, celebrities and fellow clubs took to social media to congratulate the Blues on being crowned the champions. Here are some of the best ones.
Kerala Blasters forward and Hero ISL’s all-time top scorer Iain Hume congratulated the team as well as captain Chhetri for a stellar season in front of goal.
